Here is an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering Consultancy client in Calgary as an Electrical/Controls Designer! You would be working within a growing team on projects worldwide. The successful candidate for this role will be working within the energy and petrochemical sectors establishing a course of action within limits of company practices and guidelines for all related project activities. Job Duties:
Experience in various project phases, including development of basis of design, preparation front end engineering and detailed design packages.
Responsible for generating layout drawings, loop diagrams and wiring diagrams within the oil & gas industry
Responsible for generating instrument data sheets, instrument index, cable list and IO list
Working on a variety of project, to deliver design drawings and final construction/detail drawings, for engineering projects.
Ensuring drawing packages are delivered within the project time schedule.
5+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Designer within EPC/EPCM projects.
Thorough knowledge of appropriate codes and standards
