Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) means giving back to the communities that are local to our offices. Every year we meet with the Ministry of Mines & Hydrocarbons in Equatorial Guinea and work together on how best to dedicate funds to a social project which benefits the people of EG.
Fluor, pursuing its legacy through CSP EG SL, has also employed and trained over the years more than 80 Equatoguinean citizens. Furthermore, Fluor has created a department providing formations to EG nationals (in English and other skills linked to the Oil & Gas industry). Finally, Fluor contributed more than 700 million XAF in social projects, in the form of water wells drilled in various locations such as Santa Maria 3 (District of Malabo), Etom, Adjamboga and Ayan Esanvus (District of Akonibe), Mbon Ngolom (District of Mongomo), Ndum Eseng (District of Ebibeyin), Sipopo (District of Baney), Avahopong (District of Ncue), Mba Cdo (District of Micomiseng) and Egombe Gombe (District of Mbini). We have since built a school in Nkuantoma and a city hall in Nsork.
We are currently building another school in Adjamboga.
Being a global staffing organisations with offices based around the world means we know how important it is to carry out our business in an ethical manner and to support those communities we work alongside. As part of our CSR strategy, we’re helping our clients place local candidates in vacant roles as a priority before sourcing talent from overseas.
