Job Title: Human Resources Administrator
Location: Duncan, SC
Reports To: HR Manager
Status of Hire: full-time, direct, hourly, non-exempt
Shift: days, Mon-Fri typical 8a-5p
Pay: $26-28/hr

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for leading HR functions including payroll administration, HRIS, HR documentation and compliance, training, recruiting, employee relations, and benefits administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process of payroll processing and distribution
  • Assist with maintaining payroll/HR system
  • Lead new employee orientations, training efforts, updating and filing of new hire paperwork, keeping new hire documentation organized and compliant
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation
  • Assisting with recruiting and scheduling of interviews as needed
  • Handle employee relations issues; act as a point person for hourly and production staff questions, concerns, issues
  • Assist in investigations and paperwork as needed
  • Handle customer-service related administrative tasks such as taking calls, delivering messages, directing visitors as needed
  • Performs periodic audits of documentation and paperwork related to HRIS
  • HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have High School Diploma/GED, Associate Degree preferred
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience managing high volume payroll functions in a fast-paced production environment with both hourly and salaried staff
  • Must have working knowledge of human resource functions and be comfortable in an employee-facing (employee relations) role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess well-developed leadership skills.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

**Must be authorized to work in the US regardless of visa transfer or sponsorship
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check to be eligible for hire
