We currently seek a high-caliber Administrative Assistant for a temporary basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Abilene, Texas.
Job Description:
Provides a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Document editing, proofing, formatting, and production.
- Data input and paper/electronic document filing/archiving.
- Opening, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Receiving/relaying telephone messages from internal and external sources. Screening telephone calls and visitors.
- Preparing routine reports and presentation materials.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Ordering and delivering supplies.
- Expense reports preparation submission.
- May fill in for receptionist.
- Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of administrative support experience
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills: ability to communicate effectively at different organization levels.
- Strong customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot office equipment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to details
- Ability to exercise proper care for sensitive and confidential information.
- Works under general supervision
- Uses initiative and intermediate knowledge of skills, methods and practices and chooses appropriate alternatives from among pre-defined policies and procedures to complete mainly routine work that involves standard problems and decisions.
