Architectural Lead

TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Architectural Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.
• Lead cost-effective project execution and discipline engineering.
• Oversee architectural design, calculations, and problem-solving.
• Develop and review project scopes and baseline documents.
• Mentor team members and contribute to training and development.
• Translate strategic initiatives into project-specific procedures.
• Create and manage estimates, schedules, and progress reports.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental considerations in designs.
• Support proposal and estimate activities.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
 

• Hold a professional architectural degree and registration with 16 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the mining industry is a must.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication skills with diverse audiences, including management, clients, and contractors.
• Knowledge of discipline codes, standards, and construction methods.
• Proven ability to manage and lead large projects, including setup, scheduling, reporting, and close-out.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Ability to apply knowledge of local, provincial, and federal statutes and guidelines.
