Job Title: Change Analyst 

 

Job Duties: 

 

Contractor shall provide experienced and qualified change control labor resource(s) with excellent communication, problem solving and root cause identification skills, a basic understanding of project management fundamentals, and projects lifecycle to support Transmission & Storage projects as requested by Company. Contractor shall report to the Gas Transmission & Storage (GT&S PMO) Company's Finanwithal performance Manager or discipline Lead or to the Project Manager for the assigned project and will be responsible for the deliverables and assigned activities to support project teams’ change documents and RFIs to ensure compliance to Company best practices and shall manage and perform all other assigned duties and responsibilities as directed in strict accordance with Company processes. Contractor is required to utilize specific skill budget analysis, change orders and RFIs reporting, proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and/or other tools in use by Company needed to complete assigned task. Deliverables and Assigned Activities shall include, but not limited to:  

 

Requirements / Must haves: 

 

• Change Order and Request for Information (“RFI”) management.  

• Assist Company in assessing, developing, and implementing project controls procedures.  

• Assist with coordinating, organizing, and securing change documents with Project Managers  

• Aid Project Team with change documents for completeness and accuracy  

• Assist in maintaining and managing change logs in company systems.  

• Prepare written communications on technical and non-technical matters for various levels of management  

• Provide support to project teams in tracking all Change Order Management (“COM”) process changes.  

• Assist Company in gathering data and preparing support documentations during Engineering and • Construction phases of a project  

• Organize and track documents through the approval process, collect signed forms and save for auditing.  

• Assist COM team with ongoing COM training of personnel utilizing the COM process.  

• Support Project Controls cost and schedule activities leading to the successful completion of tasks and report deliverables.  

• Ensure and evaluate traceability and reasonableness of COM documents.  

• Schedule and attend meetings, as required.  

• Complete additional duties as assigned. 

 

 

 

 

SKILLS 

Candidates and incumbents need to have the following skills; 

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking skills. 

  2. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important. 

  3. Time management and organizational skills and the ability to deal effectively with stressful situations. 

  4. Hands-on experience and general knowledge of cost management, including budgeting, change management, forecasting, and reporting. 

  5. Understanding of basic project accounting principles, and processes is required.  

  6. Basic knowledge of cost tools, procedures, and processes. 

  7. Experience on engineering, procurement, and construction projects desirable. 

  8. Ability to interpret documents for cost, estimating, change management helpful.  

  9. Ability to understand agreements, and purchase orders milestone payments.  

  10. Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Office products. SAP experience a plus. 

  11. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Accuracy and attention to detail important. 

  1. Proficiency with applicable software cost applications.  

Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients
