Civil Contract Administrator

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Contract Administrator to join our client’s team.

Our esteemed client is a global leader in delivering industrial services, primarily catering to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Power Generation, Process, Environment, and Construction.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000/year.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in project status meetings and on-site observations.
• Assist in preparing project budgets for Construction Services.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Clients about project status and quality.
• Maintain positive relations with Municipal, Client, and Contractor representatives.
• Evaluate and present feedback on construction document errors and minor issues.
• Ensure project completion complies with contract documents and regulations.
• Review and process contractor payment requests and other submittals.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Inspectors, and other staff.
• Report major construction issues to Project Manager/Engineer-of-Record.
• Assist Project Managers with Client relations and construction administration. 

Requirements

• At least 3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Certification as AScT, C.E.T., C.Tech., P.Tech., P.L.Eng., or P.Eng. (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle for occasional business use (reimbursed). 
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and processes for sewer, water main, and road construction.
• Experience in project planning, risk, cost, and schedule management, as well as contract document preparation and administration are an asset.
• Capable of handling multiple projects and team coordination.
• Efficient time management and deadline adherence.
• Proficient in tender preparation and construction administration.
• Familiar with local municipal construction standards and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
