Position: Civil Engineer
Overview: Join our client's India Global Resource Center and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of water conveyance design and construction support. As a leader in this field, you will coordinate with a diverse team of engineers across local and international offices. Your expertise will guide the creation of designs ranging from basic to highly complex, meeting the unique requirements of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and remote support for water/wastewater pipeline projects.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional growth.
- Supervise junior engineers and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Engage in business development, contributing to the technical strategy and effort estimation.
- Drive the advancement of technical expertise in water conveyance systems.
- Manage and participate in projects involving water, sewer, and stormwater conveyance.
- Utilize software like Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, and ICM InfoWater/SE for project analysis.
- Conduct engineering analyses for planning, studies, and detailed pipeline design.
- Apply knowledge of pipeline crossing techniques such as HDD, Jack and Bore, and Micro tunneling.
- Provide project management support and technical leadership.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to stakeholders.
- Develop technical reports, studies, and specifications for pipeline projects.
- Use Civil 3D to prepare plans and profile sheets.
- Offer engineering services during construction and assist in business development efforts.
- Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base by authoring white papers and technical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in civil, Water Resource and Environmental, or Pipeline Engineering.
- Over 15 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required by project needs.
