The Civil Engineering Project Coordinator will focus primarily on further developing skillsets in the specific areas of project management, employees, and clients. As a prerequisite to obtaining this position, an individual has demonstrated proficiency in the fundamental elements of civil design.
This role is intended to serve as the transitional phase between Civil Designer and Project Manager with more emphasis place on skills associated with Project Management duties. The Civil Project Coordinator is expected to continue in the production role of Civil Designer to assist the civil engineering team in the production of civil design, plan preparation and permitting. However, this position is also expected to further develop necessary project management skills related to project scope, budgeting, scheduling and client management.
The Civil Project Coordinator will be expected to foster the mentorship of other Civil Designers, Technicians and civil engineering interns and demonstrate leadership amongst peers. This position will continue to seek mentorship from Civil Project Managers to strengthen project and client management skill sets.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer with a Civil Engineering design firm or construction related experience.
