Role description:
Due to on-going growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client's Perth based team has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer. You will be working on a range of large-scale global and local projects for some of their reputable clients.
Role accountabilities:
We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with experience in all aspects of Civil design including Bulk and Detailed Earthworks, Geotech Investigations, Tailings Storage Facilities and Borrow Pit Investigations.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing Civil discipline engineering design support including Water Pipeline, Tailings Storage Facility, Borrow Pits and Geotechnical Investigation reports.
- Review and checking of deliverables produced by the ESPs (Concentrator, Tailings and Village) to ensure the technical integrity of project drawings and documentation such as scope of work, technical specifications, data sheets, and other project baseline documents.
- Review estimates, schedules, progress reports and provide input into design and risk reviews.
- Ensure that ESPs interpret and apply client, national and international standards to design documentation
- Role may require occasional site trips.
Qualifications & Experience:

Key skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Understand project life-cycle requirements to provide robust guidance and solutions
- Candidate to be self-driven, agile, have good time management skills
- Able to communicate effectively with management, team members, clients, consultants and other stakeholders to build strong relationships.
- Candidate requires in-depth understanding of Geotech aspects
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
- Experience in software design tools such as Navisworks, InRoads, 12D is desirable.
