Coating and Insulation Inspectors’ role is to support in implementing and monitoring processes to ensure project quality objectives and strategies are met, which enable long term reliability, sustainable production, and effective process safety management. Also act as a discipline SME for all Quality Control activities.
Role: Coating and Insulation Inspector
Location: Nysa, Poland
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Quality Control during construction to ensure adherence to technical requirements.
- Oversee Contractor's material storage, handling, and traceability processes.
- Ensure timely QC inspection for Contractor-issued NFIs.
- Inspect and supervise painting, coating, insulation, and fireproofing work.
- Coordinate activities to meet project schedules.
- Perform surveillance and verify all aspects of painting, coating, and insulation.
- Ensure accurate completion of Quality/Regulatory documents.
- Implement and monitor "Zero QVD backlog" initiative.
- Mentor contractors and communicate quality expectations.
- Engage with construction/engineering counterparts and report progress.
- Enforce adherence to Contractor Quality Requirements.
- Conduct regular quality walkdowns and monitor effectiveness.
- Witness testing associated with equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Record testing parameters and ensure equipment calibration.
- Provide weekly input to QMS reporting system.
- Identify and close non-conformances.
- Plan and organize work assignments.
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in Quality Control, especially in coating and insulation.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Fluent polish and English.
