Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in Kitimat, British Columbia as a Commissioning Supervisor! In this role you will be accountable for craft supervision of pre-commissioning support and commissioning execution of work. You will also be responsible to ensure safe practices and processes are in place and complied with.
Key Job Duties:
- Ensure that all commissioning activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provide day to day support to Commissioning Engineer/Commissioning Coordinator.
- Monitor availability of personnel to complete planned workloads.
- Ability to assist in performing various activities such as mechanical interlock, pipeline pigging activities, spring support hot & cold setting, overhead crane functional and load testing, etc.
- Ensure that commissioning procedures are adhered to and complete all necessary documentation to facilitate work and up-date records.
- Identify potential HSSE risks (related to commissioning) and take appropriate steps to mitigate it.
Key Requirements:
- Brownfield Piping and Mechanical background with 15+ years’ experience
- Experience as a superintendent in a Unionized environment
- Competent in LOTO and PTW
