Here is an exciting opportunity to join a project in Windsor, ON as a Communication Specialist! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal. This opportunity boasts longevity and a great work-life balance.
In this very exciting role, the qualified individual will report to the manager of communications and support by writing various communications and consultation plans. The Communication Specialist will support the client in developing external presentations, writing articles, speaking notes, fact sheets, monthly reports and will participate in high-profile external stakeholder meetings and events. Coordinate getting videos and photos on site to capture construction milestones.
Job duties:
- Develop external presentations, writing articles, speaking notes, fact sheets, monthly reports and will participate in high-profile external stakeholder meetings and events.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and executing a variety of communications programs alongside the client; support and strategize around the implementation of a variety of projects and programs from conception through to execution.
- Participate and follow up on issues and opportunities identified at project meetings as needed by the Communications Manager.
- Collaborate with other Communications team members and team members from other departments for the purposes of communications planning and delivery, reporting, stakeholder and community relations and issues management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive Marketing/Communications experience.
- A degree from a recognized university in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications or three (3) year college diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing and social media techniques as well as traditional marketing avenues, copy writing and brand management.
- Excellent computer proficiency including MS Office Suite.
