Construction Manager

Our client, an industry leader in the Commercial ICI sector is looking for a Construction Manager to join their team in Ottawa, ON. This organization prides itself on innovation, passion, and people partnerships. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in high-rise, new build construction management, with a strong leadership background and experience managing complex projects and teams. This individual should have a desire to join a profitable, entrepreneurial organization with opportunity for growth and career advancement.

Job Duties:
- Understand, organize, and execute of all phases of construction life cycle from preconstruction to closeout on complex and high value ICI
projects
- Oversee, project budget estimates, assist with revision
- Coordination and oversight of invoices and billing to clients and subcontractors
- Develop and uphold relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the course of projects

Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Construction, Engineering or Construction Technology or equivalent combination of skills and experience
- Business Development or Estimating experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- 20+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a minimum of 10 years in a Construction Management position
