CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - site based full-time permanent role in the lower mainland who will effectively oversee construction and infrastructure projects. This role will ensure seamless execution of daily field operations, guaranteeing projects are finished on schedule and within budget. As a respected authority within the organization, you implement project plans and schedules, uphold safety and quality standards, and assign tasks to field staff, contractors, and tradespeople.
Details:
- 12+ years of experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role.
- Must hold an Interprovincial Red Seal or a Journeyperson ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
- Proven track record of overseeing and managing teams of up to 500+ employees, including Superintendents and General Foremen.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, environmental protection, and current construction practices and procedures relevant to common construction processes.
- Demonstrated ability to guide safe work practices in high-pressure environments while maintaining project quality, schedule, and budget.
- Extensive knowledge of construction documents, contracts, costs, and budgets.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling and project management, organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, interpret their needs, and identify solutions.
- Excels at problem-solving and consistently seek innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Proven ability to build successful teams and promote teamwork through motivation, coaching, and consensus-building.
- Proficient in using Word, Excel, and Outlook, with familiarity in scheduling software.
