Join our client's team, a leading provider of complex construction and energy transition. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Manager. In this critical role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of the projects by managing contractual risks.
What will you do?

Contract Management: Take ownership of contract management from the moment a contract for an industrial (offshore) construction project is signed.

Contract Analysis: Thoroughly analyze the contract and related project documents to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Contract Compliance: Monitor adherence to contractual obligations, advising the project team and identifying potential variations or claims.

Proactive Approach: Anticipate potential contractual deviations and opportunities, acting as an advisor to the Project Manager.

Meeting Attendance: Attend internal and external meetings, documenting agreements and ensuring all parties are informed.

Purchasing Advice: Advise the purchasing department during negotiations with clients, suppliers, and contractors.

Commercial Focus: Consider the commercial implications of contract terms and conditions.

Strategic Thinking: Align your approach with the clients’ values: Drive, Innovation, Respect, Expertise, Customer Focus, and Teamwork.
- Project Success: Contribute to the overall success of projects.
who are we looking for?

In possession of EU nationality/work permit (no sponsorship available)

In possession of EU valid driving license

Academic Background: Hold a master’s degree in law or relevant experience in contract management within industrial (offshore) construction.

Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English and Dutch, both written and spoken.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of typical contract forms used in the offshore construction industry, such as FIDIC.

Learning Agility: A strong desire to learn and a keen interest in the construction industry.

Personal Attributes: Stress-resistant, detail-oriented, commercial-minded, customer-focused, and a team player.

Work Style: Independent, proactive, and adaptable.
