We are looking for an Instrument & Controls Control System Integration Engineer – EPC-4/BOP for our client in Qatar. You will be leading Instrument & Control (I&C) Control System Integration Engineering activities for North Field Expansion (NFXP) Onshore Project EPC-4 / BOP area, ensuring that technical requirements fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes, and are delivered to the highest standards. You will steward Instruments & Controls engineering activities to ensure quality and timely delivery of Instruments & Controls engineering scope. You will drive the EPC Contractor by providing clear guidance and facilitating resolution to issues to complete I&C Control System Integration engineering activities. 

Responsibilities:
•    Ensuring EPC-4 I&C Control System Integration engineering activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications and approved variations if any. Accountable for a quality design of I&C Control System Integration engineering deliverables, including design safety aspects and execution planning of I&C Control System Integration field activities. 
•    Driving work execution, ensuring technical alignment and quality with various disciplines’ stakeholders from both PMT and EPC Contractor. Provides guidance to EPC Contractor to complete I&C design as per project specifications in a timely manner and provides clear direction when project instructions or specifications are not clear. 
•    Managing the Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) purchase order with the EPC Contractor and System Vendor in accordance with the roles and responsibilities given in the contract, to ensure safe and seamless integration of the systems without any disturbance to the existing operating facilities. 
•    Driving the EPC Contractor to develop plans and work schedules that ensure effective completion of project activities and providing data (narrative, charts, graphs), change management recommendations and recovery plans to address any schedule delays for monthly progress and stewardship reporting. 
•    Supporting multi-discipline activities providing I&C expertise to other disciplines as necessary, to complete activities within schedule and making appropriate recommendations to management on I&C issues. 
•    Supporting interfacing between key vendors and EPC Contractor to ensure quality and execution objectives are met. 
•    Leading brownfield interface coordination with QELNG OPCO to develop execution plans to tie-in to existing systems. 
•    Participating in sharing lessons learned, together with capturing current lessons learned to benefit future projects. 

Skills and requirements:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
•    Extensive experience working in Instrument and Controls Control System Integration, in a Major LNG Project, with broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
•    Relevant experience should be in a major project construction / commissioning / start up,  with demonstrate contributions to installation, commissioning and first time start-up of instrument and controls systems.
•    Previous knowledge of Smart Technologies such as Field Bus.
•    Demonstrated broad Instruments & Controls Control System Integration equipment and systems experience (Emerson DCS & Triconex SIS, Virtualization) and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.
•    Field commissioning experience desirable.
•    Proficient in English language.
•    Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills.
•    Strong technical, prioritisation and management skills.
•    Proficient in MS Microsoft Office.
•    Good communication, influencing and interface skills.
