As an Instrumentation Engineer you responsible for the selection of the instruments on the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG).
You will prepare the technical specifications for instruments that need to be
purchased and evaluates the supplier’s quotations and documentation. You
will be in close contact with the other project team members like process, design and supply and shall ensure that contractual requirements will be met and interfaces will correctly be implemented.
Documents that you will prepare (amongst others) are:
- Instrument lists
- Equipment specifications
- Technical datasheets
You are responsible for the following items:
- Control valves
- Attemperators
- Bypass stations
- Transmitters
- Temperature element assemblies
- Local instruments
- Flow devices
- Instrument hook-up
- Electrical tracing
- Electric actuators
- Instrumentation on package units (e.g. burners, SCRs)
Requested:
- You have a bachelor degree in a discipline that has common grounds with the subject matter (for example Chemical Technology or Electrical).
- At least 5 years of experience as instrumentation engineer.
- You have experience working with databases and are able to quickly
familiarize yourself with new software. Preferably you already have
experience with the software package Conval or COMOS.
- Communication and coordination with other disciplines is of great importance in this position. We ask for a communicative employee who can act as a reliable partner in a project team.
- You are able to act independently and know how to handle tight schedules.
- Excellent English skills (both written and spoken)
