Job Description/Duties
- Perform hazard analysis and update current company forms and policies to meet compliance
- Identify and determine requirements for personal protective equipment and ensure all safety
- equipment is regularly maintained and in good working order
- Review and improve company safety policies, safety manuals, SSHP, and safety training
- programs
- Conduct regular onsite visits with staff and subcontractors to ensure adherence to company policy
- safety processes and perform coaching/training to improve safety behavior with all field
- employees as needed and maintain safety training matrix
- Ensure strict adherence to the Electronic Logging Devices for the DOT through training and
- auditing
- Maintain accurate regulatory and corporate record keeping and reporting with OSHA
- Ensure all safety compliance and pre‐qualification processes are kept up to date through
- ISNetworld, Avetta, Gold Shovel, Cognibox, WSP and more
- Review Subcontractor Safety Prequalification
- Complete Annual Prequalification Safety questionnaires
- Coordinate with Insurers the validity and treatment of WC injuries and follow up with employee
- on a regular basis
- Coordinate Annual Safety Training Days with Consultant
- Oversee monthly Safety Excellence Team meetings
- The Safety Director will be expected to attend offsite training classes to gain knowledge in order
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- College degree in relevant discipline
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 5‐years experience managing safety programs
- Self starter, ability to work independently with a sense of urgency
- Good communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
- Willingness to travel
