Cost Manager

Our client is a major player in the natural gas industry and is seeking a Cost Manager to join their team in Squamish, BC. In this role, you will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and will be responsible for costs, budget creation, risk mitigation, and performance evaluation. 


Key Job Duties:

• Engage in cost estimation, risk management, performance measurement, and budgeting.
• Develop KPIs to determine project performance.
• Generate monthly reports for costs and performance metrics.
• Manage changes to schedule, project scope, budget, and evaluate implication of changes.

Key Qualifications:

• A Bachelors’ Degree in a related field is required.
• 20+ years’ experience in major capital projects within oil and gas.
• Must have experience on megaprojects with at least one project valued upwards of $1B.
• Should have experience with cost engineering, planning, cost forecasting, change management, estimating, and scheduling.
