Deskside Support Technician

Major engineering company is seeking a Deskside Support IT Technician for a contract role to be based in Houston, TX. Role expected to last up to 6 months and is 100% on-site.

Duties & Requirements
Ideally 2-3 years of experience in the below:

• Laptop imaging
• Microsoft Suite experience
• Windows experience
• Tier 1 or 2 support experience
• Answer software and hardware questions.
• Prepare laptops ready for group.
• Ability to solve both hardware and software issues
• If experience setting up WAN/LAN networks, that is a plus.
• Assist Information Technology (IT) in evaluating technology impact to company infrastructure and systems.
