Estimating Manager

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Estimating Manager to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC. This position comes with a great opportunity to work on medium to large sized projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of total project estimates for large-scale projects.
• Develop and maintain work processes, standards, guidelines, and systems.
• Organize and prioritize multiple complex projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
• Review and validate estimate quality, planning, staffing, and training.
• Coordinate estimate development with project teams.
• Establish benchmarks and historical data for estimate validation.
• Ensure departmental and company requirements are met.
• Support strategic objectives and initiatives for estimating.
• Prepare project basis of estimate and risk analysis.
• Provide technical and administrative directions to the estimating team.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering with 20 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in sales, technical empathy, estimating tools, construction management, and business management.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Knowledgeable in Lump Sum and Cost Reimbursable estimating.
• Knowledge about process facilities in the Mining Industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Self-Perform and Construction Management Execution.
• Strong technical and communication skills to guide clients to optimal solutions.
• Ability to understand and apply local, state/province, and federal/national regulations.
• Excellent writing skills for clear and concise communication.
• Effective communication skills with various stakeholders, including management, coworkers, clients, and vendors.
