Estimating Manager

Role: Estimating Manager
Salary: £115-125,000 + benefits
Location: Surrey

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a major EPC who is focused on developing and growing their Front End and Engineering capability in the UK.

You will support a variety of interesting and challenging opportunities in Low Carbon/ Energy Transition as well as responsibly developing traditional international energy projects

As the Estimating Manager, you will be leading the team to develop CAPEX and OPEX estimates for projects

Key Responsibilities:
Leading the estimating team and provide effective people management
Lead on the principals of cost estimating
Ability to accurately interpret study, engineering, and construction documents and drawings.
Allocate manpower for the preparation of proposals/ concept studies, FEED and detailed engineering on projects
Interface and regularly meet with client and vendor representatives

Additionally, you shall have:
Significant related Cost Estimating experience in Concept, FEED and Detailed Design CAPEX estimates working for engineering/client organisations in the oil and gas industry, Utilities and/ or Low Carbon Energy Transition industry
Previous experience in a management position
Exposure to consultancy, FEED/ detailed design and EPC projects
Excellent communication skills
Excellent management, including delegation, and leadership skills
