Facility Mechanic B
We are currently seeking a Facility Mechanic B for our client's location in Aliso Viejo, CA.


The Facility Mechanic B will perform general maintenance and repairs for equipment throughout the site. Such as plumbing, basic electrical, heating & cooling, basic carpentry, and other building systems. Some on-the-job training is offered. Reports directly to the site manager. Not a supervisory role in any capacity.

Duties include, but not limited to:
• Inspect, identify & troubleshoot equipment in need of repair; work with office to request work orders, and if necessary, obtain approval for purchase of materials or outside subcontractor quotes to complete repairs.
• Utilize building blueprints or equipment manuals to plan necessary repairs as needed.
• General maintenance repairs that do not require a specialized skill set. (Such as drywall, paint, doors, etc.)
• Routine preventative maintenance work on building systems, per monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
• Responsible for tracking time per work order via the company provided timekeeping application.
• Responsible for returning all required documents to the office. (Such as completed work orders, safety assessments, receipts, and approved timecards etc.)
• Assists in maintaining office cleanliness and general upkeep of the facility.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a related position
• Ability to follow instructions from site manager or senior maintenance technicians; and communicate effectively with all clients and team members.
• Excellent organizational & time management skills.
• Critical thinking & problem-solving ability.
• Previous work experience in related industry.
• Knowledge of general carpentry & repair.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license.

Physical Job Requirements:
• Ability to stand & walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into difficult spaces.
• Ability to lift (up to) 50 lbs. at a time.

Helpful Qualifications:
• Certified plumber, or HVAC technician.
