experience in Contracts and Finance in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, EPC and Project
Management business units. Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and strategic
planning skills to effectively allocate resources, organize schedules, and improve
productivity.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, managers, workers, and
suppliers, including effective conflict resolution methods. In-depth understanding of
contract formations and administrations processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and modify contracts related to EPC projects to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve favorable terms for the company.
- Ensure all parties adhere to the contractual terms and conditions and monitor compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and conditions and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documentation for easy access and retrieval.
- Act as the primary point of contact between project managers, legal teams, and external parties to clarify contract conditions and resolve any issues.
- Manage contract amendments, renewals, and terminations as required.
- Address and resolve any disputes arising from contract performance or interpretation.
- Prepare regular reports on contract status, compliance, and any issues that arise.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior contract administrators and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the EPC industry.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of contract law and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle disputes effectively.
- Leadership and mentorship abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar.
- Experience: Previous experience with large-scale EPC projects and familiarity with international contract standards (e.g., FIDIC).
