TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join our client’s team. This position provides crucial administrative and HR support to the HR Manager and staff. Key duties include assisting with recruitment, onboarding, maintaining employee records, and fostering engagement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
 
  • Organize employee engagement activities.
  • Support payroll processing for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings and candidate screening.
  • Manage disability and leave processes.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Maintain employee communication channels.
  • Handle employment status changes and verification checks.
  • Optimize the HRIS system, providing support and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and manage data systems for employee lifecycle.
  • Assist with HR initiatives like learning, development, and compliance.

Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of HR administration experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial labor and safety laws.
  • Familiarity with HR software programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
