HSE Manager

Our client based in Copenhagen Denmark is looking for CQV engineer. These positions execute technical and functional responsibilities related to Quality support activities on project assignments and administrative functions (i.e., planning, organizing, interpreting, coordinating, and executing division or project assignments). This position may serve as the Office Quality Manager for a Major Execution Office or the Project Quality Manager for medium- to large-sized projects, if necessary.

We are looking for a HSE Manager to be based in Denmark on a long-term contract.
Role Requirements  
  • Overseeing the implementation of the Alliance PMO HSEMS across the PMO office and all locations where the Alliance PMO has engaged works contractors, consultants, etc
  • Ensuring organisational compliance to relevant HSE Legislation, associated regulations and codes of practice.
  • Ensuring that the Alliance PMO Management Team is actively involved in implementation of the HSEMP.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the overall HSE performance of the Alliance PMO; including all events and incidents.
  • Ensuring all data, required for Alliance Agreement reporting is accurately recorded in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining regular liaison with Alliance PMO Management Team regarding HSE issues.
  • Providing advice and distributing material on legislative requirements, safety education, promotion and awareness.
  • Ensuring that regular management reviews of the Alliance PMO HSEMP and its performance are undertaken.
  • This role has overall responsibility and associated authority for managing and reporting HSE program for project(s) activities. These authorities include:
  • Providing regulatory permit support, via EPC Contractor, including ECC & EIA preparation and submission.
  • Providing compliance expertise for water issues, waste management, environmental releases, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), septic systems, and construction compliance issues.
  • Coordinating the risk evaluation process and maintain record keeping and reporting process
  • Administering the pollution prevention / waste minimization process for product substitution, procurement, chemical inventories / release reporting, opportunity assessments, and recycling.
  • Supporting environmental coordination in the construction group.
  • Providing oversight on all compliance activities.
  • Ensuring subcontractors are trained on environmental requirements and responsibilities.
  • Assuring that allowances have been made during construction to allow for response, containment, and reporting of Health, Safety, and Environmental situations during the operating phase after most projects are demobilised.

  • HSE Qualifications
  • Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations
  • Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution, communication, and leadership;
possess strong presentation ability to address senior management, client management, and
total project personnel with command
  • Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
