An HSE Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of workers on construction sites. They are responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Evaluate risks associated with construction activities.
- Develop effective strategies to mitigate risks and enhance safety.

Policy Implementation:
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and guidelines.
- Monitor adherence to established safety measures.

Daily Supervision:
- Supervise day-to-day activities on the construction site.
- Monitor workers’ compliance with safety protocols.
- Address safety concerns promptly.

Protective Equipment and Training:
- Ensure workers use necessary protective equipment (e.g., helmets, gloves, welding shades).
- Provide training and education on safety practices.
- Ensure workers understand how to use tools and equipment safely.

Accident Investigation:
- Investigate work-related accidents to determine their causes.
- Develop recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Implement corrective actions based on investigative findings.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree or certification in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction safety or a similar role.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with local safety regulations and best practices.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

This position is based in Lysekil, Sweden.
