For our client in Pernis we currently are looking for an experienced inspector. You will monitor the technical integrity of pressure equipment by carrying out inspections and examinations within applicable legislation (Warenwetbesluit Drukapparatuur) in order to obtain business objectives in compliance with EHS procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Independently execute inspections and report on results:
- Develop inspection plans;
- Participate in Risk Based Inspection analyses;
- Manage and report on changes in the technical registration system;
- Manage contractors in carrying out the inspection scope;
- Independently manage inspection requests:
- Prioritize inspection activities.
- Contribute to the relationship with Lloyds Register Netherlands (NL-CBI).
- Independently manage annual RBMI line inspection program in conjunction with integrity leas (for project deliverables)

- Builds relationships with customers and internal partners
- Understands the division's / business unit's strategic plan
- Understands relationship between business plans and team/unit and role
- Identifies problems in attaining planned goals or work and proposes solutions
- Displays correct, professional business etiquette in all interactions
- Understands that there are different approaches when making decisions and utilizes as appropriate
- Able and willing to challenge team members with gained inspection experience
- Compiles and presents information in a manner easily understood by others
- Collaborates to enhance team efforts through personal contributions. Places team success above personal success
- Communicates directly, honestly, and respectfully to gain cooperation and resolve conflicts with others
Accomplishes assignments on time and contributes to continuously improve work flow and – processes
Plans, organizes and completes projects and functional work to accomplish goals and assignments
Accomplishes expectations and delivers goals and work timely and efficiently
Minimum Qualifications
- MBO (technical direction)
- Certified Inspection and Testing Expert SKK level II or equivalent
- Dutch and English
- Good engineering capabilities
- Knowledge of plants
- Plant degradation mechanisms
- Risk bases inspection methods
- 5 years of working experience in similar positions
- Self contained breathing apparatus SCBA certification.
- Drivers license
- Positive test at powers of vision and no physical restrictions due to working in confined spaces and working at high altitude
- SCBA physical fitness with repeating medical testing
- Preferable: NDO levels, weld knowledge, material knowledge, Auditor of storage tank;
