Fiscal / allocation metering, with responsibilities in maintaining equipment and records to the required standard. Use of KIMS for scheduling and maintaining evidence / records.
KEY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- ‘Live’ our Petrofac Values and apply them in day-to-day work.
- Participation in the annual performance review process, completing meaningful scorecards through SMART objectives and completing reviews in line with the company driven timeframe.
- Maintain instrumentation controlling the offshore process and utility systems, fire & gas protection / detection, emergency shutdown in a safe and competent manner.
- Maintain and carry out fiscal metering duties and Planned Maintenance Routines (PMRs).
- Safeguard the availability and operating condition so that production targets are achieved.
- Ensure fire & gas detection / protection systems are maintained for maximum reliability and availability.
- Implement the planned maintenance schedule and maintain accurate records.
- Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Install and commission new equipment as directed.
- Maintain comprehensive handover logs.
- Assist other trades and disciplines within limits of experience and capability
- Perform in an emergency role as defined by the company's emergency response procedures.
- Operate as part of an integrated maintenance team and undertake maintenance in order to minimise production disruptions.
- Ensure stock of ready use instrument spares are maintained and highlight any new items which are required to maintain critical spares stock.
- Seek to improve maintenance performance by the application of appropriate tactics; RCM, skills and experience
- Assume and maintain the SBT focal point role to include inspections, documentation control, correct tagging, breaking/making checks and control.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and experience
- A recognised apprenticeship or training scheme.
- A minimum City & Guilds or equivalent.
- CompEx (EX01 – EX04).
- Small bore tubing SBT01 & SBT02.
- Previous instrument authorisation (CIP).
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to Safe Working Practices.
- Clear, fluent and expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas.
- Ability to provide guidance and motivation to co-workers.
- Good PC literacy and familiar with MS Office suite.
- Team player.
