To identify, coordinate, and manage interfaces effectively to achieve project objectives. The Interface Engineer will work closely with various departments, project management team members, and report directly to the Project Interface Manager. The role involves ensuring that all activities, including approvals and interactions with both internal and external parties, align with the project's needs and are compatible with the project schedule and cost objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, coordinate, expedite, and oversee the resolution of internal and external project interface issues.
- Manage all technical interfaces, ensuring thorough, multi-functional reviews of requests, and align them with project objectives, requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Assess and improve the Interface Agreements (IA) process to ensure it is efficient, well-established, and maintained.
- Develop and maintain guidelines and procedures to support and control various IA processes for the project.
- Plan and organize interface activities based on identified priorities.
- Facilitate clear, accurate, timely, and consistent communication with internal and external organizations regarding interface-related information and documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between the client and the project team for client operations interfaces, including third-party agencies and subcontractors.
- Lead the interface team, ensuring timely receipt of inputs from EPCs, engineering, and construction teams for technical package approvals.
Qualifications:
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or marine engineering or any related field
- Minimum of 10years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, preferably in offshore projects and at least 5 years’ experience in detail engineering and project execution/construction.
- Proven Experience as a Discipline or Project Engineer
- GCC or Europe Preferred
