Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer

In this role, you will work alongside a talented multidisciplinary team on a variety of projects including geohazards and pipelines. You should have a strong understanding of geohazards, soil mechanics, field investigation techniques, and construction monitoring.

Job Duties:
- Responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations and ensuring geotechnical designs are implemented correctly
- Conduct data analysis, interpret laboratory data, and summarize information
- Utilize various field investigation techniques including SPT, CPT, and soil logging
- Mentor and coach junior staff members
- Play an active role in proposal preparation
- Engage in client and contractor relationship management

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering
- Must have 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity
- P.Eng designation is a must or the ability to obtain one
- Must have experience with geotechnical field investigation techniques
- Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
