Qualifications

  • This position requires at least two (2) years of experience as a Desktop Support technician or Systems Administrator
  • Require fundamental knowledge of Windows 10, 11, and Server functions
  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Experience supporting both on-site and remote employees
  • Experience managing computer and user accounts and security group membership using both Microsoft's on-prem Active Directory and cloud Azure Active directory
  • Experience troubleshooting MS Exchange issues and configuration of user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and Distribution groups
  • Experience analyzing Azure AD / MS Entra user logs
  • Experience managing devices in Intune / Endpoint
  • Experience troubleshooting OneDrive /SharePoint sites
  • Experience with TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with the maintenance/installation of software and hardware peripherals
  • Experience with installing and configuring Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Experience with imaging or provisioning PC's and Mac's
  • Experience managing application assignments from Intune
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to details
  • Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring of PC and Mac hardware
  • Experience updating device drivers and OS patches on workstations
  • Troubleshooting/analyzing network connection (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN) related issues
  • Experience installing, configuring, and supporting local and network printers
  • Attention to details in completing assigned tasks using ticketing system
  • Strong organizational, teamwork and communication skills
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of DNS and DHCP services
  • Experience in the creation, and maintenance of IT Knowledge Articles for End User and Technical use
  • Extensive knowledge in computer deployment and configuration systems
  • Be proficient in reviewing and analyzing computer and software event logs
  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction
  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard
  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Identify and understand the speech of another person

Responsibilities

  • The incumbent reports to Dean|Fluor IT manager and resides in Utah
  • Troubleshooting PC operating systems and hardware
  • Creating and updating solution and How-To guide documentation
  • Troubleshooting, installing, repairing and configurating of PC hardware and software
  • Installing and configuring of peripheral devices on PC's
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity related issues
  • Setting up and connecting mobile devices and PC's to LAN and wireless networks
  • Updating device drivers and OS patches on workstations
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting local and network printers
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining support tickets using an ITSM Ticketing tool
  • Selected applicants will be subject to a government background check and drug test
  • Be able to create/update/modify scripts to automate workflow
  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
