Job Title: Lead Piping Engineer
Location: Nysa, Poland

Position Overview: As a Lead Piping Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and interpreting design specifications, leading engineering meetings, and providing solutions to construction issues. Your expertise will ensure the successful execution of projects by collaborating with various departments and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and interpretation of the design by reviewing and understanding drawings and specifications.
- Lead or support engineering meetings as required.
- Respond to Requests-for-Information (RFI) and consult on Material Approval Forms (MAF).
- Provide design decisions and support construction by offering solutions and capturing changes, developing redlines and field sketches if needed.
- Perform material take-offs from drawings and requisition permanent plant materials not purchased by the Home Offices.
- Issue and check Field Material Requests (FMRs) and review bids for technical compliance.
- Review and check red-line markups provided by contractors.
- Conduct technical surveillance of the work in the field, including Quality Observation Walks.
- Engage, collaborate, and align with other departments and different parties at the site and from Home Offices.
- Support QC inspection of equipment/materials to verify conformance to Fluor design and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in piping engineering and construction.
- Strong understanding of design specifications and material requisition processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead and support engineering meetings effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
