Reporting to the senior site construction manager and the contracts and procurement manager, the Logistics Superintendent will act as the logistics subject matter expert on a large-scale mining project in BC.
The position requires working on site in the Northern part of BC following a 14 x 14 rotational schedule. Camp accommodation will be provided by the project.
Salary range: $50-70/hr depending on qualifications and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendations and solutions to all matters where logistics is involved
- Exercise control over delivery schedules to ensure smooth delivery process.
- Provide oversight of logistics services providers
- Supervise subcontractors on site.
Key Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in logistics management or a similar role.
- Experience working on project site, with a strong preference for industrial project experience.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to work on site in remote area of BC following a rotational schedule.
