Our client, a leading supplier for engineered steel products in North America is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer in Winnipeg, MB. This role will involve the identification and management of risks for production and logistics operations on all assigned projects. The ideal candidate for this role will develop engineering solutions to maintain proper plant operations. This opportunity provides both growth and technical mentorship and will provide comprehensive benefits to the qualified individual.
Job duties:
- Analyzing the production and logistics of all equipment; documenting
effectiveness of equipment
- Assist in the development of project budgets and documenting budget
requirements
- Perform evaluations on make/buy decisions to address areas such as cost of repair,
replacement, and redesign of equipment
- Conduct the installation, inspection and improvement work of equipment
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or process engineering
- 3+ years working in an industrial manufacturing plant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and Solid Works
- Experience in lean improvement/ continuous improvement
