Job Scope:
Responsible for managing the organization’s High-Speed Engines Sales segment, including the hiring, training, coordination, and support of Sales personnel. They set short-term and long-term goals/objectives, develop, and manage the Sales Plan, and monitor and report on Sales activities and progress. Manage and motivate sales, market intelligence analysis, pricing, and technical sales staff to achieve the sales target and revenue.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain productive sales organization; create policies and procedures for departmental operations.
  • Hire and supervise inside sales personnel; monitor production and achievement of sales quotas; assist and support sales personnel as necessary; create incentive programs.
  • Develop training programs for new personnel and provide ongoing training for all sales personnel.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully supervising and motivating team members.
  • Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategies with the VP of Sales & Business Development and provide appropriate sales programs, promotions, efforts, and events including goal setting.
  • Facilitate in formulating and implementing the Sales Strategy, objectives and KPIs.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts and set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed.
  • Identify sales opportunities in the market and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Prepare written reports of sales activities including sales orders, backlog, forecasts, lost accounts, actual production to quota, etc.; provide timely briefings to the VP of Sales & Business Development as necessary or as requested.
  • Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related discipline. 
  • 15-20 years of relevant experience in blue-chip or best-practice organization 
  • Specialty: High-Speed Engine
