Join our client's team as we embark on an exciting project to rebuild the IsoCracker plant at this refinery site in Sweden. The plant, currently used for diesel production, will be converted to produce renewable aviation fuel (biojet/SAF) and renewable diesel. This project is a significant step towards sustainable energy solutions.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in both static and rotating equipment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the supervision of field-erected steel storage tanks in compliance with API standards. You will be working for the main EPC contractor, overseeing the mechanical aspects of the project to ensure successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of static and rotating equipment.
- Oversee the construction and compliance of field-erected steel storage tanks according to API standards.
- Ensure all mechanical work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other supervisors, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress and mechanical operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, particularly in the oil and gas or renewable energy sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of static and rotating equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising the construction of field-erected steel storage tanks in compliance with API standards.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualifications.
