Here is an exciting opportunity to join an environmental consulting company as an Operations Manager in BC’s Northern Capital – Prince George! You would be at work within a company that values their high-quality work and offers an opportunity for career development and flexibility. In this role, the qualified candidate will report into the Vice President of Operations, as well as the CEO and will be responsible for managing the growth of the regional office. The position will also require the successful individual to coordinate the completions of phase 1 & 2 environmental site assessments, stage 1 & 2 PSIs, and detailed site investigations.
Job Duties:
• Train, mentor and providing excellent leadership to staff
• Liaise with new and existing clients to develop business
• Management of project workflow and staff
• Proposal preparation, budgeting and project design
• Project logistics and execution
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Current standing with APEGBC, BCIA, ACPBC, ASTTBC, CAB, or with another provincial organization
• Technical experience in contaminated sites obtained though a mix of education and fieldwork
• Strong computer skills
• Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license
