We are currently seeking a diligent and safety-focused Work Permit Coordinator to oversee the permitting process for high-risk activities at our construction site in Nysa. The Work Permit Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained and that proper safety protocols are followed during high-risk activities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Checking the adequacy of the WP, as well as its associated WP checklist(s) andattachment(s), for the task that will be carried out.
  • Coordinating the WP authorization for works being performed in a specific unit or area, or in neighboring units or areas.
  • Informing during the Construction Meetings about the status of the WP and hazardous activities planned.
  • Keeping, updating and managing the WP Log.
  • Assigning a number to the WPs (sequential numbers for identification) and recording them in the WP, checklists associated to the WP and LOTO log, as applicable.
  • Monitoring WP status in the WP Log, and providing reports as required.
  • Keeping updated lists of authorized Issuing and Performing Authorities.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in construction (at least 3 years), with a focus on high-risk work permit coordination.
  • Thorough understanding of high-risk work activities and associated safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to work permits.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software
