Piping Stress Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our client, a globally leading EPC company, on a contract basis (outside IR35). This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise on a high-value project within the pharmaceutical industry, working with a world-renowned engineering firm.

About You:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in piping stress analysis
• Proven ability to perform static and dynamic analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoPIPE).
• Experience with designing and specifying pipe supports for high purity applications.
• Excellent understanding of relevant piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, BPE).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What You'll Do:

• Perform piping flexibility analysis for critical piping systems within a high-value pharmaceutical project.
• Design and specify pipe supports for high purity applications.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant codes (including pharmaceutical industry standards), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and maintain stress analysis reports.
