The Procurement & Logistics Manager for Offshore Construction Projects is responsible for overseeing the procurement and logistics operations specific to the project. This role involves managing the sourcing, purchasing, and transportation of materials and services required for the project, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the offshore construction project to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
- Manage the entire procurement process for the project, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of materials specific to the project.
- Monitor and analyse market trends to identify potential opportunities and risks related to the project.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements specific to offshore construction.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement and logistics activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and inventory levels for the project.
- Collaborate with project team and other stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers relevant to the project.
Qualifications:
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in procurement or logistics (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 15years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, preferably in offshore projects and at least 10 years’ experience in EPCIC projects.
- GCC or Europe Preferred
- Fully conversant with MS Office and web applications.
- Oracle Fusion Applications
