This exciting position is a fulltime permanent role which will be office based in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead and manage the purchasing and supply of goods and services to the Terminal in a cost effective and ethical manner
- You will ensure that the procurement and warehouse processes are effective and that compliance exists within the tendering, contract management and spare parts processes.
- You will lead on commercial negotiations and ensure that the appropriate terms and conditions are in place to protect the Terminal.
- You will lead on key supplier/vendor liaison and will ensure contractual obligations are met
- You will also oversee the activities of Warehouse personnel including the efficient supply, receipt, inspection and storage of materials.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
- Bachelors degree preferably in business related field such as Business Management or Contract Management and Procurement
- Significant experience in the purchasing of maintenance and engineering services, equipment and spare parts with experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Ability to draft and negotiate contracts.
- Highly computer literate with experience of integrated computer systems. Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and business skills.
