Job Summary:
Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity, and improvements. Improve quality and safety and reduce operating costs. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the workshop personnel planning and forecast as per the workload.
- Prepare and maintain the production ratio database.
- Review fabrication drawings and perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime.
- Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
- Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
- Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production. Investigate production and process issues and provide technical support and training.
- Monitor and enforce HSE policies in the workshop. Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.
- Maintains quality service by setting up and enforcing organization standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field.
- Engineering degree or other related.
- Good understanding of Engineering and Oil and Gas related technical requirements.
- Technical knowledge of steel fabrication (piping and structural).
- Understanding of related standards (ASM B31.3, API, ASME IX, AWSD1.1).
- Knowledge of High-Pressure piping (5,000psi, 10,000psi, 15,000psi WP) beneficial.
- Technical knowledge of welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW).
- Awareness regarding:
2) Job Specific procedures, instructions, and formats.
3) Relevant quality, environmental, or health and safety objectives.
4) Their contribution to the effectiveness of the management system.
5) Benefits of improved performance.
