Project Controller

Join our client's team as a Project Controller and contribute to the successful execution of challenging and rewarding projects in the renewable energy and offshore/steel construction industries.

What will you do?

• Provide expert advice to the Project Manager on all aspects of project planning, costs, and performance monitoring.

• Collaborate with the project team to establish the validated baseline for scope, time, and cost, and define the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in conjunction with the Project Manager.

• Work closely with the project team to identify and define contractual deliverables (SCOPE).

• Develop a project schedule based on the WBS, ensuring a clear understanding of which tasks need to be completed, where, and when.

• Load cost information into the project planning tool (COST).

• Prepare regular progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Continuously evaluate project performance, including calculating Earned Value, developing scenario models, and conducting risk assessments.

• Advise the project and contract teams on realized or potential risks, and report any changes compared to the validated baseline (scope/time/budget).

• Proactively monitor project schedules, budgets, and identify risks, proposing mitigation and/or improvement measures as needed. Conduct thorough delay assessments in case of schedule slippage.

Who are we looking for?

• In possession of EU nationality/work permit (no sponsorship available)

• In possession of EU valid driving license  

• Proven experience in cost control or project planning.

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, engineering, or construction.

• Strong interest in the construction and contracting industry.

• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Primavera P6.

• Working knowledge of project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6/OPC or MS Project) is essential.
