Project Cost Controller

Our client is looking for 2 Project Cost Controllers to join their team on exciting highway projects they have going on in Orlando, FL.

These will be full-time, on-site positions.

The Project Cost Controller runs all cost control activities, quantity and costs budget definition, cost variance analysis and cost control reports production (production control, variances control, efficiency control, time schedule control) on multiple projects in the region.

Location: Orlando, FL (Relocation Assistance Available)
Duration: Full time / Direct hire (on site)
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 +
Relevant Industry Experience: oil & gas, construction, or energy,

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, accounting or equivalent
• 5-10 years + of experience in the construction industry in a cost control or Project Control position.
• Must have budgeting or forecasting experience and deep knowledge of large infrastructure project
• Previous job site direct experience, preferred in technical positions (cost engineer, project controls, schedule)
• Project management background highly desired
• Deep knowledge of JDE and/or other ERP experience preferred (otherwise must be trained accordingly)
• Construction experience required
• Proficient interpersonal and organization skills
• MS Office proficiency including advanced knowledge of Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
• Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of the Budget and the Forecast for the Project in accordance with the agreed cost codes structures and with the support of the other Departments of the Project
• Provide monthly reporting for the Job
• Support the Project Manager in the decision-making process by providing analysis on the performance trends.
• Gathering of daily production data from the job site, their compilation and integration
• Preparation of recurrent forecasts by revising the analyses of all project activities, considering both the achieved performance and the new economic targets, in accordance with the updated work schedule.
• Submission and co-ordination of special reports requested by the management.
• Carry out job duties while maintaining company values
