Project Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER - Vancouver based contractor assignment. The Project Engineer position involves planning and executing project management tasks globally, requiring sound technical judgment. 

The role focuses on managing and coordinating project activities to ensure compliance with contracts, safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability. It aims to develop broader project management knowledge and experience by applying established procedures and techniques.

Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in the EPC/CM industry, or combination of mining & metals and oil & gas industries, with hands-on involvement in project tasks and a foundational understanding of procedures and interfaces.
-Project management certification, such as PMP, is recommended.
-Strong customer focus, capable of building and maintaining productive relationships while aligning with company objectives.
-Proven skills in strategic thinking, accountability, and adaptability.
-Commitment to high performance standards, with responsibility for completing assignments successfully.
-Proactive in reporting progress and achievements, with effective follow-up to ensure project tasks are on track.
-Analytical mindset for problem-solving and identifying potential solutions.
-Proficient in technical writing.
-Basic proficiency in computer and software applications, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, presentations, and project management tools.
