  • Responsible for all automation-related activities at project site
  • Promote and ensure effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals
  • Work with the client and project management to analyze and develop the work process, and identify the desired electronic interaction among the client, partners, contractors, suppliers, and Fluor
  • Coordinate the automation scope, services, budget, and schedule at project site
  • Apply effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
  • Coordinate issue resolution with respect to automation at site including WAN, LAN, PC’s and site user support
  • Coordinate design automation kickoff activities and provide overall cross-discipline automation coordination for site users
  • Identify and coordinate the automation project turnover and close-out activities in coordination with PIM
  • Work with the project management team in identifying the key automation requirements and issues for the client, contractor, partner, and Fluor as related to the project, including identification of specific technology and tools requested by the client to be used in project execution and those tools required by the Fluor project execution team
  • Specialize in facilitating business process management sessions and workshops
  • Specialize in data analyst skills and/or data quality management
  • Specialize in business process modeling and management
  • Conduct surveillance of industry, client, and competitor intelligence (e.g., conferences, seminars, etc.)
  • Conduct training courses for specialties or Project Information Management (PIM) procedures and solutions
  • Manage and track all Fluor IT infrastructure equipment at site
  • Protect Fluor’s intellectual property and confidentiality of information
  • Support Fluor’s Strategic Priorities
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Ability to manage and mentor site IT support resources


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or two (2) year diploma, or global equivalent, in Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, or Computer Science is preferred
  • Six (6) years of experience in project management or information management lead position
  • Two (2) years of experience in Project Information Management/Information Technology/Automation
  • Three (3) years of experience in Automation support, Computer Aided Design (CAD) coordination, Project Controls, Engineering, or Procurement/contracts, or equivalent is recommended
