In this role, the qualified candidate will report into the Operations Manager and will be responsible for managing phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessments, stage 1 and 2 preliminary site investigations and project budgeting. The position will also require the successful individual to complete stage 1 and 2 detailed site investigations, hazardous materials investigations, and environmental remediation.
Job Duties:
• Provide compliance monitoring
• Develop policies and protocols
• Conduct contaminated sites services
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors
• Mentor, teach and train junior staff
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Current standing with APEGBC, BCIA, ACPBC, ASTTBC, CAB, or with another provincial organization
• 3+ years of experience in contaminated sites assessments and remediation
• Strong computer skills
• Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license
