Project Manager - Design Build

We are currently looking for a seasoned Design Build Project Manager to work for a leading engineering consultancy. This individual would oversee the design management for major infrastructure projects across Western Canada.

Job Requirements
• Lead and develop the technical design of civil engineering works
 Major Design Build and P3 Infrastructure Projects
 Roadway and Transportation Design
 Utility Design, including Watermains, Sewers and Force Mains
 Construction design
• Provide technical direction, engineering design, and design management of projects
• Utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MS Project or Primavera P6 for the creation and review of engineering designs, reports, proposals and related documents
• Coach, train, and support professional and junior staff

Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience preferably in the Design Build / P3 industry
• Strong understanding of MMCD, TAC, BC MOTI, AT & ON, WSDOT design standards
• Registration in good standing as a P.Eng. in BC, Alberta, or Ontario (or eligibility for registration)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly identify and articulate issues.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
• Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Scheduler), Adobe Acrobat (or Blue Beam) and AutoCAD Civil 3D
